I do agree but was hoping (fingers crossed) there was a way around it.
Often when threads run wild, someone will begin a new thread by slightly
modifying the subject "Subject: new (was old)", I would love for these
(plus see below) to form a new top level thread.

With that in mind, I eclosed the included "real world" example, to
illustrate that point. Perhaps mention of this might me appreciated by
others. I often find interesting threads hidden deep within another
uninteresting thread I have chosen to ignore because people reply and
change the sugject.
