Yes, it's almost here.  If you don't yet know what the Open Source
Weekend (OSW) is, check out http://www.osw.ca -- there's /lots/ going
on.  I hope to see you at one place or another, and don't forget to
invite your friends/co-workers/favorite IT managers/members of
parliament. ;)

For those of you planning to attend, please feel free to bring your
cameras and camcorders as we'd love to have lots of records of this.

We have some nice items to give away, including several copies of the
film "Revolution OS" on DVD -- see http://www.revolution-os.com for
more.  There's also some very nice stuff from O'Reilly and from No
Starch Press.

Also, warm up your VCRs -- our keynote speaker, Martin Fink will be
interviewed for an item (on him and on OSW) scheduled for tomorrow
evening's CJOH News at Six; and our panelist Joseph Potvin, who you may
remember spoke a couple of meetings ago, is appearing on Ottawa Citizen
Business Television on Rogers22, Friday at 6:30PM.

Additionally, there will be a piece on Martin Fink and the OSW published
in the Ottawa Citizen on Saturday or Sunday, and an item on OSW in
http://www.itbusiness.ca tomorrow.

It's going to be an exciting weekend for FLOSS in Ottawa.  See you at
