I also agree with Shad on this position.  

Also, how do you (Bill) know that the poster wasn't perhaps under the
impression that MySQL could import DBF files (it can) and thought that
was a good way to import an .mdb to Linux?  It is actually.  But I'd
personally get dbTools and export the files directly to MySQL via ODBC
as Chris suggested earlier.

But Chris... Could you set the date on your computer so that it reads
something a little closer to today?  I feel like I'm stuck in a time
warp :)
