[oclug]DNS update problem

it's the default named.conf with Redhat 8.0.
The windows box can see the internet OK and this
is the only dns the it knows about

Unless you are running a local version of bind, with a caching name
server, it will be necessary to put w2k001 in /etc/hosts, your system
has no other way to reference it.
