You'll likely have no problems with any DSL provider so long as you use a 
DSL modem with an ethernet port on it (which is effectively a bridge, and 
not really a modem).  Sympatico has been known to send out DSL kits with 
the USB version rather than the ethernet one.  Steer clear of that and you 
shouldn't have any problems getting online with Linux.  I've used 
IStop, Sympatico and Primus successfully and would recommend them in that 
order.  I had a poor experience with Cyberus and Bell has been known to 
screw up at every turn, but YMMV.
