:-) Sorry. Guilty. As others have said, UW-IMAP is easy to set up.
I use IMAP for another reason: I like trying out different mail clients
(haven't yet found one I'm completely happy with), and it's a lot easier
and less disruptive to switch clients if all your mail is in an IMAP
store than if you have to change to each client's particular method for
storing local mail.
