Yeah, and like the other major distros, they put a 
fair amount of work into selecting even the free 
software that they include, and packaging it all 
nicely with the dependencies all accounted for 
and some decent printed books and a good installer 
that's getting smarter every release.  All-in-all, 
I don't begrudge them my money.

They're helping promote open source.

I do, however, prefer not to pay $35 to a courier 
company for "handling" (i.e., getting the box 
across the border), plus tax(es) plus the US dollar 
exchange... (in addition to the dollars that the 
seller charges for international shipping) which 
is why I wanna buy within the country... preferrably 
within the city.
