Some people just *love* to shop ;)

One distinction here is (I suppose) that between 1) commercial
software that runs on GNU/Linux, 2) no-cost software that runs
on GNU/Linux, and 3) the GNU/Linux operating system and core
utilities themselves.

True enough. Though I sometimes wonder if I should be concerned
about the possibility that commercial offerings may obscure from
newbies the fact that GNU/Linux itself is both fundamentally
free as in freedom, and free as in beer.
