Thank you Mike.

First though, when I boot the machine it hangs for a long time and then comes
up with: "Bringing up interface eth0...... (Failed). I tried writing the same
commands that I wrote at the root command line:
"ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.1 netmask 255.255.0.0 broadcast 192.168.255.255"
into the /etc/rc.d/rc.local file but it did not work when I booted the unit.
What am I doing wrong?

Concerning the above, when the VNC server is up and running it gives the IP
address of: 169.254.73.250, so I don't know if there are extra IP addresses
on that unit.

VNC can only connect to one VNC server at a time, which means to me that
there can only be a one on one relationship. So I would presume that the IP
address I would use would be 169.254.73.250. The thing is just where do I put
it? <... ahem... be kind.. :) >

Thank you,

Bill.
