Sorry, I have been having a bad week with the funeral and all, and I was
think I was simply over tired.
However..
You assumed I did not check those sources already, and you assumed I did not
know how to fix those problems. That is not the point, or you have missed
everything I have said on this list for all time. That is why I said you
were calling me stupid ... you assumed I did not know how to fix it. Frankly
that's pretty arrogant.
I not only know where the modules should be located, but I also know -why-
the install failed and -why- the modules were missing. I was venting
frustration over this distribution that did not work in even the simplest
sense and was even potentially dangerous in term of data loss. "edit/cut"
actually deleted text. Like I said in the post previous to that one, fixing
these problems was strait forward, but annoying and likely outside the realm
of the inexperienced user... If someone has to hire a $90.00/hr Linux Guru
to fix the problems, well, the value of the product rapidly diminishes).
Sorry but I expected a whole lot more from this billion dollar company.
More over, I was frustrated with RH, not the list, and certainly not you
two personally. So why the tone? I have never been ashamed to ask questions
on this list, even the most basic newbie ones (and I am no newbie). I did
not ask for help. I did not need help. I also offer help where ever I can,
so why the tone?
That being said, I am human and will continue to display the characteristics
of humanity. Deal with it.
Shad
