I forgot to tell you... if you have one of these devices, you can mount
it with the gui as well.  Go into the removable Media icon on your
desktop... right click and select "Create New" -> "Hard Disk".  Go to
the device tab and select "Memory card".  that's it.

I don't know if your camera can be mounted directly that way.  Some can
be.
