Um, NTFS is not fully supported -- why would redhat ship it?

Hmm, really? Perhaps you have not used them...

$ cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Linux release 8.0 (Psyche)

$ find /lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs -type f | wc -l
    75

$ find /lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs | egrep '(reiser|dos|fat)'
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/fat
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/fat/fat.o
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/msdos
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/msdos/msdos.o
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/reiserfs
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/reiserfs/reiserfs.o
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/umsdos
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/umsdos/umsdos.o
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/vfat
/lib/modules/2.4.18-0.4/kernel/fs/vfat/vfat.o

They certainly have the ones you are whining about.

Get xmms-mp3*.i386.rpm from www.freshrpms.net.

I woudl actually recommend you get apt-get for rpm from freshrpms and
use it to

	apt-get install xmms-mp3

And do an upgrade as well.

I assume you see that you are in error.

Hehe... downgrading, are we?

The latest Mandrake has more bad reviews then anyone else...
