If it were an simply issue of installing a static IP, there would not be one
:). My problem is I am running strait to the modem. No router. If I was on
Rogers, it would be a non-issue as well as their IP remain stable long
enough to grab it from mandrake and plug it in. In Sympatico, with every
re-connection I have a new IP.
If I was in a working system, it would be simpler as well. But I have not
even gotten to partitioning the disk yet.
