[gr] I don't know if this will help, Shad, but when I configured MDK
9.0 for network access through my router, a D-Link DI-704P, I answered
that I was connecting through a LAN and then configured the IP address
given me by D-Link (192.168.0.1) and when the install was done, I
could easily connect to the 'Net.

I did NOT click the ADSL option, just the LAN connection option when I
configured my network connection. Try using the MDK Control Center, in
the Network Connection section and redo the configuration, omitting
the ADSL connection. Make sure you use the expert mode and specify
that your network be brought up automatically at boot-up. Remember
that little problem I had with that, with which you helped me? ;-) You
don't need to install pppoe or the dhcp daemon, the router takes care
of that as far as I know. Hope this helps you.
