[oclug]Linux rippers/mp3 encoders

I use a perl utility called rip. The worst thing about ripping is entering all the assorted artist/title/track info. This command-line utility will ogg encode an entire cd, give each track a good file name and store all the track info in the compressed file w/out much input from you. I recently finished putting our entire household cd collection on my hard-drive using this.
