Ah, your probably right Ian.
My problem is nobody is talking about anything else. This list is a trickle
compare to almost every other list I belong to. I'm sorta bored.
<tongue in cheek>But it seems you guys just want to talk about coding for
the most part. Maybe we should change the name to OCLUG - Ottawa Coding and
Linux Users Group. :) </tongue in cheek>
Anyway, I will refrain from an non-technical question in the future :)

<big snip>
Is there any chance we can make another mailing list for discussion of
issues
like this, and other issues that veer off-topic? The KDE people have a
mailing list called kde-cafe where people can discuss anything that is not
appropriate for the main list. Would this be feasible for OCLUG? I would
love
to get more involved in discussions such as this one, but I try to not
contribute to off topic discussion.
In the case of the discussion that could arise from this posting, it is
nowhere near on topic at all, and I feel that the [OT] in the subject is not
sufficient to not annoy some people. Any chance of another list for
extremely
off topic posts?
Anyway, just an idea I thought I would throw out there.
Ian
