I wasn't starting an editor war, I was attempting to quell one.  Re-read my
post - I wasn't critical of any editor - rather I was poking a largish stick
at someone who's complaint was that stable, functional software couldn't
pre-emptively anticipate his personal proclivities and peccadillos.  The
post I was commenting on may have precipitated Yet Another Endless Editor
thread.  My post re-directed the focus on to the person behind the keyboard
(LART, LART, LART). 

Thunk.  This thread has been consigned to /dev/null.
