BTW- This is a reposted question I have.

I am learning Apache (I'm a newbie...) on my home network, and wondering about how to set up permissions.

Can anyone confirm/deny my thinking??

Acting as an ISP (not really, just
pretending for the sake of learning...) if I have folders (sites) that I
want only the account holder to have access to, then the account/user would
be the owner of the file, and apache would part of the group privilege,
which I could have contain certain admin people. Then, if new files/folders
are added to any folder in the html folder, you set it up so that the group
is automatically changed to this apache/admin group.

Is that how it works?
