There is one very small danger with running a mail server on a dynamic
IP. If you lose connectivity, and someone else who is *also* running
a mail server picks up your former IP address before you can update
DNS, then mail to you may bounce with a "relaying denied" error. This
happened to me once or twice in the 15 months I was with Sympatico and
running an MX host on a dynamic IP address.

Regards,

David.
