That's odd.  You should be able to c&p between KDE and Gnome apps
without trouble.  I use some apps from both and have no trouble doing
so.

Am I misunderstanding your question?  Is it just c&p-ing that's  not
working or the manager (i.e. klipper) that's the problem?
