My $0.02, FWIW:

I called Magma about a business DSL line and wanted a /29 or /28 routed to 
the static IP.  They couldn't tell me if it was possible, or how much it 
would cost because they couldn't check if my phone line was within range.  
I'm not sure why they couldn't check, but it didn't matter because I 
assured them the lines were fine as there were at least 8 DSL  
lines/modems in the building.  There was even one already running in 
my office.  Still, they had no idea.

I can't see paying a premium for "support" like that, but YMMV.
