Well here is my 2 cents.  As much as RedHat is the basis there has been
many differences finding there way into Mandrake over the last couple of
versions.  I really noticed the difference with the Install and control
center in Mandrake.  That maybe a person thing or a hardware issue.

If I was having to decide and had some spare time I'd Install both and
give them a whirl.  Myself I'm very happy with the newest release by
Mandrake.  Sorry but I can't offer anything on RedHat as I have not
tried the distro lately.
