I have a TV as second monitor on my GeForce2MX-400 (X 4.1.n), and
the numbers that work for me are:

	horizontal 30-50
	vertical 60

I'm able to 'drive' it up to 1024x768 with no problems, as a 'clone' of my
main monitor. Just text at 1024 ain't too legible. I have both 14" monitor
and TV, so ... I don't suppose the NTSC signal over the RCA cable would be
more defined on an HD TV?

I've really only *used* the TV out in clone mode: to put graphics on
a VHS video I was cheaply editing, and make an instructional VHS segment on
how to do certain dogfighting manoevers in a flight simulator. Yes, under
Linux I'm using the non-opensource binaries from Nvidia. My approprate
section is:

Section "Device"
    Identifier "Geforce2MX"
    Driver "nvidia"
    Option "IgnoreEDID" "true"
    Option "TwinView" "true"
    Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30-50"
    Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "60"
    Option      "MetaModes"                     "1024x768,1024x768;
800x600,800x600"
    Option "TwinViewOrientation" "clone"
# Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT, TV"
EndSection

Somehow the vid card can detect (over the RCA cable) if the TV is on or not
at bootup, so just diables the TV signal if the TV isn't on. The commented
out line I think I was using when extending the desktop to the TV, but I
haven't used it since first testing it.
