Nowadays, whenever I see the acronym MCSE, I always think "Minesweeper
Consultant and Solitaire Expert." Heard it too many times I guess.

Well, what did you expect him to say? "No please, take that other class
so that I'll lose my job and won't get paid." :)

I hate to tell you this, but, the way the computing trends are going, it
seems to me that Linux/Unix will be gaining a great deal of market share,
and Microsoft will lose the "OS Wars." I wouldn't say your MCSE is almost
worthless now, but I think it will be, and a lot sooner than you expect.
This is how the conversation usually goes at my company:
PoorSchmuk: Hello? Is this HR? I'm looking for a job. I have an MCSE...
Me: Do you have any experience with Linux or Unix?
PoorSchmuk: No. But I have an MCSE...
Me: I'm sorry, we're looking for people with Linux or Unix Experience.
PoorSchmuk: Oh, ok, bye.
:)

Then don't waste your money on a MCSE. Take some Unix courses instead, or
something, anything else. :)
