Although I happen to agree with you.  I'll take Tcl over Java any day.
It's open-source, just as "write-once-run-anywhere" as Java, if not
more, and a heck of a lot easier to use.  In my opinion, Tcl/Tk is one
of the most under-rated open-source technologies.
