The Nominees to date for the OCLUG 2002 
election are as follows:

1.   Randal Leavitt
2.   Mike Kenzie
3.   Vic Gedris
4.   Stephanie Donovan
5.   Bill Strosberg
6.   Burns McDonald
7.   Andrew Hutton
8.   Dave Edwards

Careful students of the obvious will note that 
there are only 8 candidates
for 9 positions.  According to my computer's 
calculator, we therefore need
another 3 candidates.  No wait ... according to 
my fingers, we only need 1
more.  Hmmm.

Well, whatever, we _should_ have at least 
another 3 candidates.  Note as 
well that if candidates want to say their piece at 
tomorrow's meeting, they
will need to make their minds up quite quickly, 
though I have no problem 
with anyone announcing their intentions at the 
time of the meeting.

The bottom line is, we need more candidates.  
We can't expect the people
who are already doing the job to automatically 
pick up the slack.
