Why is it that education is so often used to justify why one person must
be correct and the other must be wrong? I argued with my profs all the time,
and I have to say, many of them (of the doctoral class) were the most clueless
losers I've ever met. Burned out, completely out of touch with what year it
was, and spending so much time looking down their noses at students that they
forgot to teach them a damn thing.
Occasionally we'd get a good one that could teach, but it was rare. I'm
convinced that it should be a requirement of all professors to go to teacher's
college before they are permitted to teach.
