I meant that as a response to _why_ people find indenting restrictive 
- it brings back bad memories of COBOL... *still shuddering from the 
memories*
Braces and semi-colons where our salvation from COBOL.
(When I went to CEGEP,  C was taught before COBOL (sink or swim 
policy!)... COBOL's tab-oriented(column) structure was a nightmare 
compared to C's freedom with {,;,})
