You can still upgrade to OfficeXP, even if there isn't an OfficeXP upgrade
version. ;)  You just go out and buy a version of XP, and install it. 
There, you've upgraded.

Yes, and what a wonderful boon for Linux.  However, before this happens I
think we're going to see some serious law suits up here.  Click through
licensing is going to die, I believe.

It was never really legal in the first place.
