I bought an iBook to run Linux. I still have OS X somewhere on there,
but I can't even remember the last time I booted into it.

Linux is the environment that I'm familiar with, and I'm glad that I can
stick to it regardless of what platform I use. I haven't had any
problems running Debian on my iBook (beyond those that were caused by my
own stupidity). I'm actually interested to know which caveats you're
referring to above.

OS X is nice, but I get more work done in Linux because I'm used to it.
