[oclug] Motherboard prices

Earlier in the year, I put together a budget Duron system with some spare
parts, and some new. The motherboard:
ECS K7S5A (Socket A, SIS, 5-PCI, AGP, 2 DDR, 2 DIMM, ATA-100, Audio, LAN)
$89.96
and CPU:
AMD Duron 1000MHz with 200MHz FSB OEM $72.97

That's less than $165 for a MB/CPU combo in excess of most people's needs.

The hardware came from:

http://crawfordmicrosystems.com

The system works flawlessly (even the OB LAN) and runs a recent version of
Mandrake. I noticed that this shop doesn't advertise in Monitor or The
Computer Paper, so I check their prices online occassionally. They also seem
to have good prices on hard drives.

Good luck.
