[oclug] kernel compiles with gcc 3.1

It was the driver that was hanging.  All programs involved are C
programs... ifconfig, iwconfig, pluto, route, iproute.

I don't run redhat kernels.

I would not say that either is deficient... it just does not work in
this case.  I had noted that by themselves swan and my wireless drivers
worked fine... they just didn't play nice when the whole shibang was
compiled with gcc3.2.
