I'm pretty sure I have a copy on a machine at work downloaded a while ago and 
kept because they had a notice saying it wouldn't be there that much longer.
I'm on holidays - so it'll be Tuesday or so before I get a chance to look.

To know the kernel version  currently  running on a  box, you
may use uname.It is also available in /proc/sys/kernel files,
namely osrelease and version. Simply viewing these files will
will give the needed info. This info can be used by scripts.
