I downloaded the complete distribution onto a hard drive (all except for the
links which simply won't download) and placed the whole thing under the /suse
directory. From the boot images I created a boot floppy and tried to run
that. I bypass CDRom installation and proceed to the install from hard drive
section. I enter the /dev/hard-drive-partition-no. It seems to recognize
the hard drive and then asks for the directory. I tried /suse and various
other directories on the distribution that looked reasonable and always get
the message "Cannot find the image". Do you have any idea what the H I'm
doing wrong. The only other thing I can think of doing is to install 6.4
then trying to do an update. I's rather not waste the time if there's a more
direct way particularly as I'd have to use Yast from 6.4 and am not sure how
it will handle the change in directory structure.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Allan
