[oclug] Board Nominations

Okay so far we have had alot of people show some interest in being nominated
to the board.  This is good, here is a summary of the people who have
expressed an interest.

As stated in a previous email "The OCLUG Technical Meeting on 2001 Apr 5
will begin with a call for nominations.

Those who want to stand for election for our Board of Directors should
arrange
to have someone nominate them at this meeting.  They should also be at the
meeting to indicate that they accept the nomination, or have someone present
some documentation to indicate that they accept.  If anyone wants to be
nominated but cannot do so in this way they should post a notice on the
OCLUG-Board list and we will work something out."

As a side note, if anyone wants to be removed from this list(before the next
meeting, April 5/01) send me (Jeremy, jrm at cyberus.ca) an email directly and
I will do so, no questions asked. I have been maintaining this list as well
as Mr. Leavitt.  So to keep things straight if anyone nomiates anyone else,
please send me a private email so that I have it, and copy to the list if
you want.   Once this list is created on the april meeting, then I believe
the next step will be to vote in the June meeting.
