Personally though, I have an IBM Thinkpad 385XD, and Linux on it is just
too sweet!  Installs and runs with absolutely zero hassle.  No built in
modem port, no idiot (Windows) keys, no stupid touchpad... just a good,
solid, reliable design.

Next laptop I buy will also be an IBM.  They just work too well to
consider anything else.
