Stand proud.....wear those sandals...:) Then again, considering the 
over-inflated price of Birkenstocks these days (one good outlet left in the 
Market and they love to haggle and 20 bucks less than the least pair I bought 
in the US) Im not sure I understand the stereo type any more.
