[oclug] Toshiba xm5303B - help

I am trying to install Mandrake 7.2 using a boot disk, all seems to go OK
until it looks for the cd-rom drive. If I select ide-cd I get a message 
- Autoprobe says it can not find the device anywhere-  .
There is no entry for Toshiba xm5303B in the list. Do I need a special
driver for this cd-rom. During the floppy boot process I think I see a
reference to the Toshiba but the screen flashes by so quickly I can not be
sure.
