I have heard good things about PuTTY, but have not yet used it myself.

The client that I currently use (mostly because it has X-like copy, and
'civilized' right-click paste, behaviour :) is a free telnet client called Tera
Term Pro. This telnet client becomes a SSH client via an add-on called 'ttssh'
(also free). Both these clients support only SSH v1 AFAIK - I am not aware of
any free windows clients that yet support SSH v2 (but would love to know if I'm
wrong :)
