I wasn't serious about the patch!

Anyway, it seems that Netcraft may not be very accurate.  I got my hands
on a Linux Alpha box, and its timestamp does not match the uptime in the
same way as an Intel box.  It overstates the uptime by a factor of 1.8.

So for *spectacular* uptimes, run your Web servers on Alpha Linux. :-)
