Thanks for this little piece of info. That's what I dislike most about
the DLink cards; the Orinoco cards are looking much more attractive. I
need to be able to get the antenna away from the PCMCIA slot on the
wearable.
...and thanks for the annecdotal report. Look forward to hearing how
things go on the Linux side with a little Dan York help. If all goes
well, a cheaper, more flexible alternative to the black-box hub/PCI card
might be to find a dirt-cheap laptop with two PCMCIA slots. It has the
added bonus of a built-in UPS. :-)
