Best and easiest solution to True Type Font is xfstt, a small
application that runs in the background.

Grab a rpm or src-tgz from freshmeat, copile and install.. add fonts to
where ever the rpm installs the font dir.. (RH is
/usr/share/fonts/truetype i believe) type xfstt --sync (createsthe font
dir file automatically) and then add a entry to rc.local for xfstt if
you compiled from src...if you used a rpm then it should have already
created a rc entry for the inits for you)

Its done as fast as it took to read this posting. Fonts are available
for gimp, netscape, windowmanagers..everywhere but StarOffice, but i
hear the is a work around for that.
