I looks like a good idea on the face of it. We have to make sure,
however, that the nature of the problem invites multiple solutions.
For instance, a particular sponsor may have a problem that all of us
may choose to solve in Perl, because is the nature of the problem.
It's got to remain something that a multi-language/platform approach
is possible. Who knows, mayber Windows might be could for something
after all besides the dung heap. I know, I know. Mea cupla, mea
So, I think that we need to have a set of critera on the nature of
the problem as well as the nature of the solution.
Also, let's make sure we keep it fun. Don't take ourselves too
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.
