[oclug] Fun idea for an upcoming meeting

I like this idea. This could be fun. Make conflict useful and fun.
Putting the Revolution in action, so to speak.
It is very important that the problem be general enough so that any
approach is perfectly valid (even Windows, shudder). The focus should
be on the solution best fitting all the required criterea.
Your categories are quite good, but let's use a term from the old
days: elegant (and we'll define the parameters of what me mean by
elegance based on your 4 or more points).
We could open this up to anyone and get some corporate sponsors (and
this prizes). This is a good way of raising the visibility of our
group which has gone down significantly over the last little while
(and I take some of the blame for that).
Also, this will prevent the little flame war going on from
degenerating further (amuzing as it is).
