At the meeting this month, David talked about using ssh-agent and ssh-add to manage passphrases for public key authentication over ssh. I have recently begun using public key authentication along with passwords on a majority of my remote servers, and am looking for an easy way to avoid having to repeatadly typing in my passphrase.
I've looked at the slides from the meeting on David's site and haven't found any instructions. Could someone post their .xinitrc or .xsession's, where they use ssh-agent at the beginning to the session, add the keys, and then have ssh-agent killed when the session ends?
Thanks,
Kyle
