[oclug] MicroSoft says Linux, OpenSource threaten innovation

Well,

David, this is purely akin to whispering in someone's ear that s/he is a
doodie-head and having that someone pipe right up and declare for all to
hear that "Hey everyone, David just called me a doodie-head!" Who looks the
fool now (not that I'm calling you a fool, I'm just making an observation)?
It rather goes against the grain of Linux and the OSS movement itself to not
have the courage to fight someone in an open manner. Either fight or,
remain quiet, the choice is yours and either option is fine. Sneaky
potshots are just cowardly - even MS has the courage to publicly state the
drivel they do, and their statements are just plain wrong!

And a violation of _copyright_?? Come one, next thing you'll tell me is
that speech is patented by Amazon! :)

Cheers!
Jon
