I don't see it that way at all.

I believe his post serves as a warning to anyone who threatens him with 
public humiliation and/or calls him a name.  I'd have likely done something 
similar.  Your continued beratement of him for that simply indicates to me 
that you are embarrassed your message - which you incorrectly assumed would 
be held in confidence - was posted to a public forum.   I also believe that 
was Shad's intention, and because of your apparant reaction - judging from 
what I see here, it appears to have worked.  What's best about it is, you did 
it to yourself by sending a rude e-mail in the first place.

Go ahead, get self righteous about it.  It's not going to win you any points 
here.  A lesson: don't write in an e-mail what you don't want the whole world 
to see.
