I understand your point, Bruce, and my post only suggested that everyone
show the courtesy of, as you say, doing their best, eyeballing their
messages before sending them, and some basic--ahem--standards compliance. 
Besides, it's usually easy to tell the difference between someone
struggling to do their best, and laziness.

I would also say that we should all stop throwing around terms like
*Fascism* so lightly.  The real thing is too menacing to be trivialized
like this.
