Definately all don't do it.. but most do, but I don't know of any that store it
in an eprom. Naturally, that doesn't mean it isn't so, I've just never seen it
:)
Of the 5 or 6 different brands I've done it with, its just a matter of changing
it. When you reboot you're back to the old one...
