Just a curiousity question.
I came accros this ifconfig command
ifconfig eth0 hw ether ${MACADDR}
Does this actually change the NIC's mac address?? (Temporarily of course)
If so, what is it used for?
Could I use this to prevent my troubles on Rogers when switching network
cards?
